The TES-3 series is a family of high performance 3W dc-dc converter modules featuring wide 2:1 input voltage ranges. The 15 models come in a low profile SMD package with dimensions of 32.3 x 14.8 x 10.2 mm. A high efficiency allows an operating temperature range of –40°C to +85°C at full load. This product is qualified for soldering in a high temperature lead-free reflow solder process. Typical applications for the converters are battery operated equipment, instrumentation, communication and industrial electronics, everywhere where an isolated, tightly regulated voltage is required.

TRACOPOWER completed successfully in July, 2006 the process of producing all power supply and dc/dc converter fully compliant to the European RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC). Excepted are those products which have been removed from the actual sales program (obsolete products).
The EU RoHS Directive and the China RoHS both denominate identical Substances and MCV’s (Maximum Concentration Values).
The current TRACO POWER RoHS declaration therefore satisfies the EU RoHS Directive as well as the China RoHS Regulation.
All TRACOPOWER surface mount devices (SMD) are qualified for lead-free reflow solder process under the condition that the product is handled in accordance (J-STD-033B) to its moisture sensitivity level (IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020D.1).
We generally do not recommend washing or cleaning electronic components. You should avoid it, if it is not absolutely necessary. Please refer to cleaning guide.
